"Yeah, well, actually that was around the first stages of Le Butcherettes. The whole meat thing and blood was my way of using symbolism — like the pig’s head represented the male chauvinist pig. The typical hatred all put into a dead animal part. I myself am a vegetarian but when people see that and take it out of context they’re going to think this girl is just trying to get attention, or she’s just into this gore stuff that’s all been done before."
